Community Support & Poverty Relief
Practical initiatives that help address poverty, food insecurity, hardship and barriers to participation in community life. We believe that addressing basic community needs is an essential foundation for human dignity and long-term opportunity.
YBSP Canada works with community partners and volunteers to help address food insecurity and social isolation through community meals and other practical initiatives.

Education, Skills & Youth Opportunity
Education, mentorship and skills development that help people build confidence, knowledge, networks and pathways toward opportunity. This pillar is where our structured mentorship cohorts and community workshops live.
Participants explore practical career readiness, workplace communication, financial capability, and digital literacy. As part of modern digital skills, participants may also explore practical digital and AI tools that can support learning, work and productivity.

- Career exploration, resume crafting, and interview readiness
- Essential workplace skills, professionalism, and professional networking
- Financial literacy, budgeting, and personal financial capability

Pathways to Self-Sufficiency
Employment readiness, entrepreneurship, financial capability and other pathways that can help people build greater economic independence. We work with individuals seeking to transition from systemic barriers into sustainable livelihoods.
Within this pillar, entrepreneurship education is presented as one valuable pathway toward economic self-sufficiency, alongside traditional employment preparation, career development, and small-business capability.

YBSP Canada is an independent Canadian nonprofit organization focused on reducing poverty, expanding opportunity and strengthening communities in Canada, while supporting appropriate international initiatives.
Canadian donations fund Canadian community initiatives, with distinct international cooperation agreements governing cross-border solidarity projects.
YBSP Burundi Field Programs
YBSP Burundi is the organization founded in Burundi in 2011, continuing locally rooted work supporting vulnerable children, families, youth and communities.
